We have answered some Frequently Asked Questions about our waiting list, please read these before joining:
Q: Can I arrange a viewing?
A: Due to our popularity, we are only able to arrange nursery viewings once we can confirm that we have a place to offer. This is because we get a lot of requests and offering routine viewings to everyone would mean that the manager would spend all of her time showing people around without actually having a place to offer at the end of it! Therefore, when you make an enquiry, you will initially be placed on our waiting list. If we are able to offer you a place, you will of course be invited to come and have a look around the nursery before making any commitments.
Q: How does the waiting list work?
A: Once you have joined the waiting list, we will get in touch as soon as something becomes available that may be of interest to you. You are more than welcome to call and ask for a status update at any time, although we may not be able to provide this until early/mid Spring each year. This is because most of our places are offered in line with the academic calendar.
Most of our children tend to stay with us until they are of Reception age, but some apply for school nursery places. We, therefore, do not know exactly how many children are starting school in September until all school places have been allocated in the Spring. Because we remain full, it is only when older children leave, younger children can begin their transition into the next nursery room and we can confirm exactly how many places we have to offer during the following academic year. We offer places from our waiting list on a first-come first-served basis, taking into account the age of the child and the sessions requested in relation to the places we have available.
Q: How far in advance should I join the waiting list?
A: We strongly advise joining the waiting list as early as possible. If your circumstances change and you would like to update your request at a later date (e.g. different sessions or start date), you can inform us via email anytime.
Q: Can I book half days?
A: Yes, a full day at the nursery is from 7:30am - 6:30pm, but you can also book morning sessions, which run from 7:30am - 1pm and include breakfast and lunch, or afternoon sessions, which run from 1pm - 6:30pm and include tea. You can book any combination of full/half days, subject to availability.
Q: How much are the fees?
